Easy mountain bike trails were the perfect activity today. The goal was simple: get the body moving and dodge a few trees. I knew these trails would be in top shape, with the weather warming up after a wet stretch. There was just enough mud in some turns to make things interesting with a bit of sliding.
I’d rate the trail conditions a solid 9/10 — they would have been a perfect 10 if it had been about 15°C cooler. I took a break, then went back out and did it all over again. It was an absolute blast.
Today, for the most part, was a junk food day. Call for the pizza 15 minutes ahead and it will be ready when you arrive. The water fill stations were my favorite stops today.
