I kept wondering if I was in paradise. The temperatures were perfect, the location ideal, the people friendly, the food delicious, and I had a bike. Days don't get much better than this. I removed the tape from my ACOC and gained an additional 25F cooling for the ride back. It was the right moment to take off the tape in Ohio. A beautiful shale and limestone boundary, characteristic of Ohio's 400-million-year-old geology, remained remarkably horizontal. When I snapped a photo, the turtle adopted a raised, assertive stance. I decided not to disturb it further. The 400 ft climb out of the valley on my bike was the easiest it has ever been for me, even with less food. Go figure! The oil looks fine and will last 100 hours before needing a change. The tour of the Victorian House, in Queen Ann style, was outstanding.
