A couple of new helmet pads made a huge difference today. A relaxed 30-mile ride felt effortless, just what I needed to get my body moving. The weather added some excitement on both the outbound and return trips. I’m starting to realize how many incredible homemade desserts the Yellow Springs community has to offer. I resisted today, but the temptation is real. Those slippers make me feel old, but they’re way better than clomping around in clipless road bike shoes. My go to coffee in the summer is an "iced Americano with an extra shot". It is cheaper than most other drinks and cleaner, no sugar, no cream and tastes better than drip coffee (in my opinion).
a 100W backup battery is nice to have on an all-day ride. they are both lightweight and cheap. I didn't really need it today, but I sat around for a while and plugged it in.
