Bogi-Bar tow bar brackets for baggage bulkheads. Forward-facing aft, these brackets trap the tow bar in a bi-hook on the left side and pin it on the right. The tow bar must be inserted at an angle into the left bi-hook by lowering the right side by 7 inches. Once installed horizontally, the tow bar is securely trapped and cannot be removed. Each bracket requires drilling 3 holes in the bulkhead for mounting. The brackets should be located horizontally approximately 20 inches apart. A drill jig is provided to locate the holes. A bulkhead ridge protector is recommended to prevent scratches on the lower right side of the bulkhead. A #8 screw hole (brass plastic nut) is embedded on the right-hand side bracket to attach a lanyard to the quick-release pin. All AN525-832 screws are provided; you supply the washers and nuts.
 
This tow bar mount is particularly beneficial for the RV10, due to its limited side door access, but it may also be suitable for other RV aircraft.
 
Load testing: A 50 lb load was applied to the bi-hook, and no visual deflection or part damage was noted.
